Elizabeth Diane Wolfe of Rexburg, Idaho, suddenly, yet peacefully passed from this life in her home Wednesday afternoon August 7, 2013.
Diane was born in Washington, D.C. on May 21, 1954. She spent a few early years in New Orleans while her father completed his internship as a physician and then onto Sherman Oaks California and later Paradise, California where she would later meet and marry her husband Bradley Wolfe.
Diane graduated from High School in 1972 from Paradise High and then attended BYU in Provo for 3 1/2 years until returning home to begin her married life.
After marrying, Diane started her family remaining in Paradise and later moving to Chico, California where she would raise her family. In 2006 she moved to Rexburg, Idaho where she and her family opened Wolfe Lighting and Accents.
Among her fondest memories was the time she spent each summer throughout her life at her family cabin in Island Park. Ultimately, it would play a big part in her relocating to her family roots in the Idaho Falls - Rexburg area.
She was a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where she served faithfully in many capacities throughout her life and had a particular love and devotion for the youth where she served most of her life loving them and considering them her own.
She is survived by her husband Brad Wolfe of Rexburg, her mother Louise Crabtree of Provo, Utah and recently mourned the passing of her father Robert Crabtree, her 4 children and spouses Christie and Dan Bryant of Rexburg, Adam and Vanessa Wolfe of Chico, California, Seth and Kristin Wolfe of Rexburg, Idaho and Emilee and Jordan Landon of Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was grandmother to seven, Parker, Izabelle, Kalya, Addie, Cooper, Tucker and Jackson. She is also survived by her 5 brothers and their spouses Joe and Karen Crabtree of Auburn, California, Steve and Kamele Crabtree of Paradise, California, Brent and Denise Crabtree of Provo, Utah, Chris and Rhonda Crabtree of Lindon, Utah, and Michael and Corie Crabtree of Overland Park, Kansas.
She is and will forever be loved and missed by those she has left behind.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10, at the Valley View LDS Chapel, 1070 South 2nd East. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
