Aaron Williams Angell, 97 of St. Anthony, passed away Friday, May 6, 2022 at home surrounded by his family.

Aaron was born September 2, 1924 at Henry's Lake, Idaho to Solomon Elmer and Maria Rose Angell. He attended elementary school in Twin Groves, Idaho, and secondary school in St. Anthony. After completing highschool he enjoyed working on his family farm. He was drafted into the Navy and served his time on the USS Tangier during World War II.

He married Maurine Ball on November 3, 1948 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He served many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Aaron and Maurine served as stake missionaries and temple workers in the Idaho Falls temple.

Aaron loved raising his seven children. He loved hunting and fishing and  was an outfitter and guide  with his own business, Angell Outdoor Recreation. He was owner of Angell Real Estate and a broker for over 40 years.

He is survived by 6 children; David William (Dina) Angell of Rexburg, ID; Bryce Del (Terri) Angell of Island Park, ID; Shane Daniel (Royelia) Angell of St. Anthony, ID; Jon Micah Angell of St. Anthony, ID; Larry Jim (Lorena) Angell of Washougal, WA; and Taunalee (Jeryl) Fluckiger of Pinedale, WY; He was preceded in death by his parents, all of his siblings, his wife,  and a daughter, Julie Angell.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday May 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony Stake Center. The family will receive friends on Tuesday May 10, 2022 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. and again Wednesday  from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. both times at the Stake Center. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
