Alfonso Rivas Acosta de Parker, Idaho falleció en su casa el lunes,7 de junio del 2021.
Alfonso (Poncho) nació el 18 de diciembre 1975 en Palo Verde, Cósala, Sinaloa, México hijo de Trinidad y Beatriz Rivas. Él fue el tercero de nueve hijos. Creció en el Palo Verde y estudió en la ciudad de Mochis y en Cósala, Sinaloa donde conoció al amor de su vida Eva Micaela con quien vivió treinta años. Después hicieron su vida en Parker. Él vivía por sus hijos, José, Gisel, Karen, Beatriz, y Emy. Siempre estuvo orgulloso de su familia y su trabajo. Él tenía un gran amor por sus trokes, la música, y la buena comida. Él siempre disfrutaba de sus sabrosas comidas como su Poncho's secret carne asada.
Fue un hombre de grandes éxitos, un hombre que sobresalía en todo lo que hacía. Siempre andaba con una sonrisa contagiosa y hacia a todos reír. Fue un gran hijo, esposo, padre, y amigo. Poncho siempre daba todo por los demás.

Le sobreviven su mamá, su esposa, sus hermanos, sus hijos, y sus nietos. Fue precedido en la muerte por su padre Trinidad Rivas, y sus hermanos Jorge y José Rivas.

Alfonso (Poncho) was born December 18,1975 in Palo Verde, Cosala, Sinaloa, Mexico, son of Trinidad and Beatriz Rivas. He was the third of nine children. He grew up in Palo Verde and studied in the city of Mochis and Cosala, where he met the love of his life Eva Micaela, who he spent 30 years with. Together they built a life in Parker. He lived for his kids, Jose, Gisel, Karen, Beatriz, and Emy. He was always very proud of his family and of his work. He had a great passion for his semis, music, and delicious food. He enjoyed lots of savory dishes, including his famous Poncho's secret carne asada.
He was a man of many feats, a man who exceeded anything he put his mind to. He was always seen with a contagious smile on his face and making everyone around laugh. He was a great son, husband, father, and friend. He gave everything for everyone without hesitation.
His legacy continues on through his mother, brothers, wife, children, and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father Trinidad, and his brothers Jorge and Jose Rivas.

The family will receive friends Sunday, June 13, 2021 with Rosary to start at 5:30 p.m. and visitation from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony. The Funeral Mass will be Monday, June 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church, 328 W. 1st N., St. Anthony.
