Obituary
Alice W. Edwards was born on April 28, 1934 in Big Piney, Wyoming to Marshall and Ona Gurney. She graduated from Big Piney High School in 1952.. She met her best friend and husband Rodger Edwards while working on the ranch in Pinedale while she cooked, and he worked cattle. They were married June 1, 1952 in Big Piney, WY. They had three children: Ed (Cathy) Edwards, Bob (Sandy) Edwards, and Helen (Terry) Snow. After both working many years of ranching in Wyoming they moved to St. Anthony in 1966. She enjoyed cooking, camping, long drives and her favorite; being with her family.
On April 16, 2021 our sweet mother and grandmother peacefully passed, surrounded by all of her family.
She will be missed by her 3 children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. Her brothers Lyle (Glenda) Gurney, and Joe (Connie) Gurney.
She was welcomed with open loving arms by her husband, parents, grandson Skip, sister Lela, brother Fred, and daughter in-law Cathy.
We as a family want to sincerely thank Briarwood Assisted Living and Solace Hospice Care for all the great care and friendship they gave to her.
There will not be any formal services for Alice and the family will inter her in the Pinedale Cemetery in Pinedale, Wyoming at a later date.
