Allen Lee Kohler Jr. was born the 22 nd of September 1947 in Butte Montana to Allen Lee Kohler Sr. and Dorothy Dean Gray. Allen is the oldest of his family, with his brother Kyle and sister Cindy. Allen enjoyed hunting, fishing, crystal digging, gardening, raising waterfowl, and most any sport. Allen graduated Butte High School in 1965. He attended College at Ricks College (Rexburg, Idaho), Montana Tech (Butte Montana), and Western Montana College (Dillon Montana). Many people throughout Butte have been touched by his ability to see a person's potential and then enabling them to find success, throughout his 50 plus year career.
