Ann Beck

Edith Ann Beck, Age 73, of St. Anthony passed away on March 24, 2014 at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, ID of causes incident to Alzheimer's Disease.

She was born in Chester, Idaho on June 28, 1940 of Audessa LaPriel Glover and Irvin Lemuel Hathaway. Ann graduated from South Fremont High School in 1958 and received an Associate Degree in Nursing at Ricks College in 1961. She married her High School sweetheart, Willard Dale Beck, on November 27, 1959. The marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple on March 23, 1962.

Ann worked as a Registered Nurse for 34 years specializing in obstetrical nursing where she excelled. Ann was an active member of the LDS Church. She loved serving her neighbors and serving in the temple with her husband. She enjoyed baking, reading, visiting family and planning gatherings with family and dear friends. Her grandchildren were also a source of joy.

Ann is survived by her husband, Bill Beck, of St. Anthony, Idaho; five children: Devan (Lynn) Beck of Malibu, CA; RoxAnne (Ray) Loosle of Orem, UT; Michelle (Gordon) Harper of Rupert, ID; Kristina (Rick) Henry of Rexburg, ID; Natalie (Greg) Hoch of West Jordan, UT. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and the following siblings: Gale (Marlene) Hathaway, of Idaho Falls, ID; Morita (Jerry) Stucki, of Idaho Falls, Idaho; DeLynn (Lori) Hathaway, of St. Anthony, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 siblings, and an infant son, Irvin Paul.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the St. Anthony Stake Center with Bishop Drostan Orme of the St. Anthony 1 st Ward officiating. Visitations will be Friday, March 28 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary and Saturday, March 29 from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at the St. Anthony Stake Center. Donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Association or your favorite charity in her name.
