Obituary

Anna Li Eaton Gundert, age 34, passed away unexpectedly, of unknown causes, on the morning of July 31, 2015, while at work. She is survived by her husband Jason Gundert; exhusband Destry Wolbert; children Tony, Lisette, Ramona, Clayton; mother Karen DeBow; stepfather Brad DeBow; sisters Jen, Patti, Liz, Charley; and brothers Ben, Joe, Fred.

She was preceded in death by her father, Anthony Eaton.

Anna was born September 05, 1980, in Rexburg Idaho to Karen and Anthony Eaton. When she was seven she moved with her family from Rigby, Idaho to Saratoga Springs, New York. When thirteen she moved back with her family to Rexburg, Idaho, proceeding the passing of her father.

While attending school at Madison, she was an active member of the AFJROTC (Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps), where she lead her Junior Military Drill Team in National Championships, and quickly obtained the rank of Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. She graduated from Madison High School in 1999.

Anna met her first husband, Destry Wolbert, and they were later married on July 15, 2000. During their marriage they gave birth to their first child, Tony Wolbert. They were later divorced.

Anna married her second husband, Jason Gundert on August 31, 2005. They have spent many happy years together helping raise Tony; as well as giving birth to, and raising their children Lisette, Ramona, and Clayton.

Anna attended Eastern Idaho Technical College where she obtained her certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2005. She also attended Idaho State University and graduated on August 3, 2012, with an Associate of Science in Nursing. She spent her life caring for the sick and afflicted, and always made sure her family members were taken care of.

Her passions included being a wonderful mother (even to her siblings), a loving wife, a hostess for family gatherings, a professional & family nurse, going camping, putting on firework shows for the 4th of July, and spending time with all her family. The memories of Anna making others smile, doting over her nieces and nephews, baking warm treats, and being a good friend will never be forgotten. She wasn't perfect but she was perfect for us.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015, in the Summerfield Ward building located at 210 S 12th West Rexburg, Idaho 83440. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Rexburg Cemetery.
