Deborah Annette Herrera, 66, of Rexburg Idaho, died January 27, 2025 of natural causes.

Annette was born December 21st, 1958, to Marion Lamar Clegg and Vivian Carraway Clegg in Baytown Texas.  She grew up in Baytown and attended Ross Sterling Highschool.  Annette attended Ricks College in Rexburg in the Fall of 1978.

She married John Dunkley January 11, 1980, later they were sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple.  Together they had four children.  In May 1997 John and Annette divorced.  Annette attended EITC in Idaho Falls and graduated with a certificate of Applied Science in Office Technologies.

Annette married Mike Herrera July 24, 2003 and was later sealed in the Rexburg Temple.  Annette worked at Porters Craft and Frame until September 2009 when health issues made it impossible for her to continue working.

Annette was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints.  She was a loving and devoted mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children Kristen, John (Erinne), and James Dunkley, and step children Sonya, Sandy, Keith, Zack, Frank, and Becky.  She is also survived by her many grandchildren.  Annette is survived by her siblings Lawrence Eric Clegg and Ivan Ray Clegg.
Annette is preceded in death by her husband Mike, her son Jared, granddaughter Charity, brother Dan and her parents.
