Barbara Ann Goodwin, 71 of St. Anthony, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018.

She was born April 21, 1946 at Idaho Falls, ID the daughter of Rolland Eric and Donna Ann Rhead Johnson.

She grew up in the Shelley, Idaho area where she attended her schooling and graduated from Shelley High School. She then attended B.Y.U. in Provo, Utah for one and a half years.

She married Ronald Gary Goodwin on August 27, 1965 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple.

Because Gary worked for the U.S. Forest Service they lived in several places including Idaho Falls, ID; Logan, UT; Sterling Park, BA; Coeur d'Alene, ID and then moved to St. Anthony in 1980 where they have since resided.

Barbara was active in the community serving over 500 hrs as a candy striper in area hospitals. She enjoyed music and played the organ and piano by ear playing any tune that can be hummed.

She enjoyed Square Dancing with her husband, made over 1,000 monogramed towels and serving in the Stake and Ward Library for many years.

She is survived by her husband Gary of St. Anthony; Children, Wendy K. (Steve) Rawson; Melanie Sue (Mitch) Thomas; Ronald J. (LaNell) Goodwin; and K'treena Dawn Wahlbom; two brothers, Robert (Dianne) Johnson and Richard (Rhonda) Johnson; and 14 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Danielle Goodwin.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary and on Monday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery.
