Obituary

Our kind and loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Betty Lou Glover Ball, 76, of Rexburg, was called home on December 24, 2012. Betty was born on January 4, 1936 in Marysville, Id. She was the third child of Rita Edington and Raymond Glover. She spent her early childhood in Marysville and had many happy memories. The family later moved to Pocatello, Id and later to Idaho Falls, Idaho, where she spent her teenage years. She graduated from Idaho Falls High School and attended Rick's College, where she met and married Keith Leonard Ball. Together they worked on the family farm in Salem, Idaho.

She loved to sew and created many beautiful garments and quilts for her family and herself. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Church History Sites, and visited these sites often with her family. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many different positions including positions in the Primary, Relief Society, and as Librarian. She retired from Electrical Wholesale, after working there for over 20 years. She had spent the last few years volunteering for Sugar-Salem School District, Teton Dam Flood Museum, Madison Memorial Hospital, Rexburg LDS Temple and the Madison County Fair Board.

She is survived by her children, Debra Lynn (Bret) Thurman of Clinton, Utah, Barbara Ann (Steve) Atencio of Roy, Utah, Kyle Leonard (Jackie) Ball of Harker Heights, Texas, and Layne J. (Tamie) Ball of Salem, Idaho. She is also survived by her sister, Leah Rae Bybee of Pocatello, Idaho and brothers, Perry Dean Glover of Mesa Arizona, and Raymond Glover of Bath, New Hampshire. She had 5 grandchildren, Justin Thurman, Christopher (Lillyan) Ball, John, Kelli and Luke Ball and two step-grandchildren Kim Burns and Revendy Rhodes. She had 1 great-grand daughter, Zoe Ball and six step great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Andrew and Raeleigh Rhodes, and Kye, Troy and Brooke Ball.

She is proceeded in death by her parents, husband, brother, and granddaughter.
