Betty Silva Vargas

Betty was born in El Paso Texas on April 8th 1940 and moved to California as a young teen with her older brother.

She met and married Robert C. Vargas in 1957. They lived in Riverside California where they raised 5 children together, Jesse, Robert, Marie, Victoria and Donna.

Betty enjoyed a 37 year career in the medical field as a Registered Nurse. She worked labor and delivery, emergency, behavioral health and ended her career as a school nurse at California School for the Deaf in Riverside, California. Betty was most happy being able to care for all those she encountered.
Betty also enjoyed spending time with her 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Betty moved to St. Anthony Idaho in 2016 where she enjoyed exploring the outdoors. She loved fishing, bird watching, rock collecting and riding her golf cart all around her property.

Betty is survived by her son Jesse R. Vargas (Karen), daughter Marie V. Piel (Phillip), daughter Victoria Vargas and daughter Donna Kramer. Betty was preceded in death by, her husband Robert C. Vargas, Son Robert S. Vargas, and her parents Maria and Sixto Silva.

A celebration of life has held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at the Kingdom Hall in St. Anthony. Betty will be buried on Thursday, February 2, 2023 next to her husband Robert and near her son Robert at Olivewood Cemetery in Riverside, California
