Beulah Niederer Widdison, 87, of Rexburg, passed away February 19, 2013 in West Jordan, Utah. She was born at Archer, Idaho on December 26, 1925, the fifth child and fourth daughter of Rulon Sheppard and Vada Rowena Nielsen Niederer. She lived at Archer until she moved with her family to Rexburg.

She attended Adams School, the Washington School, and Madison High School. She met her future husband one day as he took the desk behind her in class. She must have impressed him because he asked her to the Harvest ball and she accepted. He also asked her to marry him three times. She always said, "No". However, persistence paid off and they were married March 29, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS temple. Three children were born to this union; Terri Lynne (Marvin) Worthington, Frances Ann (Perry) Jensen and Steven Ellis (Vickie) Widdison. They also have twelve grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her eternal sweetheart, Leland, her parents, sisters Alta Mae, Helen and Norma and brothers Jess and Blaine and a great granddaughter Emily Jane Jensen.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends, at the funeral home, on Friday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Sutton Cemetery.
