Obituary

Wilfred "Bill" Herbert Green was born in May 25, 1928 in Stafford Springs Connecticut.

He married Margeret Trevamachen in 1958. He had a Step Son Kim Saurey born May 12, 1956 and passed away July 2010. Then they welcomed their first son together, Richard K Green, December 5, 1958 and later came son Anthony in February 1961. Then Bill and Treva owned and managed the Riverside Hotel in St Anthony, Idaho throughout the 1960's giving many in need and elderly folks a home.

Bill Served in the U.S Navy in the final chapter of World War 2 and afterwards joined the Merchant Marine Services. He earned an associated degree in accounting from Portland College.

Bill loved bike riding, taking his boys skiing all over Idaho at Targhee, Kellys Canyon, Sun Valley and Jackson Wyoming. He loved camping with his family, he always had a good joke or a story to tell and was so supportive and proud of all his children. Always willing to give you a hug. He had a great love of music and jazz. He listed to his music everyday.

Later in life, he married Donna Lucille Moon on August 7th, 1970 and had a daughter, Lori Denise Green Murdock on January 4th, 1971. When Lori was born she was welcomed by her 3 brothers, and 5 other siblings from Donna's previous marriage. Bill and Donna moved to Boise, Idaho where Bill drove his cab, for over 20 years. Bill and Donna returned to St. Anthony to care for Donna's parents Arthur and Ann Moon. Bill drove his Cab in Idaho Falls for many more years, until he retired. Donna passed away November 10, 2001 and Bill remained in their home until he passed March 28, 2017.

He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Survived by his two brother's Wes Green, Jess Green and sister Marge Hurley. Children: Richard and (Jamie) Green, Anthony and (George) Green, Clinton and (Spanky) Morris, Tracy and (Gerry) Morris, Sherri and (Brad) Maupin, Cindy Foruria, Shawna and (William) Knox, and Lori Denise Murdock. 32 Grandchildren, 41 Great Grandchildren and 5 Great Great Grandchildren.

Luncheon will be provided for family and friends on April 5th, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the LDS 2nd Ward in St. Anthony. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted on his behalf, to help cover funeral expenses.
