Isabelle Birdie Walz, 85, formerly of Rexburg, died November 1, 2015.
She was born March 25, 1930 to Joseph and Annie Horman in Alameda, California. The family then moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho where she attended schools and graduated from Idaho Falls High School in 1948.
She married Harlo Billeter Walz in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on October 13, 1953. They raised their four children in Idaho.
Through out her married life she was homemaker and kept books for various businesses and banks.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served a mission to the Southern States from 1951 to 1952. She served many years with the children in the primary but she favorite calling was leading the primary chorister. Later in life she and her husband served a building mission in England and Northern Ireland.
She enjoyed being a part owner with her daughter in Special T's etc., where she won many awards for her hand painted Tee Shirts and Sweat Shirts.
She is survived by her children, Wendi Sherman of Stockton, California, Harlo Dennis Walz of Rexburg, Idaho, Conrad Lennis Walz of Rexburg, Idaho, Myron (Cheree) Walz of Idaho Falls, Idaho, as well as 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, June Teek of Stockton California.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Velma Connell.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Burton LDS Chapel, located at 3958 W. 2000 S, Rexburg. Burial took place on November 6, 2015 at the Rexburg Cemetery.
