Robert Thomas Moon Jr. was born March 11, 1956 in Rexburg, Idaho.  He was raised in Egin, Idaho by Robert Thomas Moon Sr. and Amy Moon.
He attended elementary school in Parker, Idaho at Parker Elementary School and went on to attend South Fremont High School.

He worked on the family farm and ranch most of his life until the early 2000's. He decided to make a career change and went to work for H K Contractors, driving truck and operating heavy equipment. In 2002 Robert started his own trucking company called R & K Trucking. Later he changed the name to Moon Trucking LLC. He owned and operated his company until October 2018 when an accident took Roberts eye sight.
On August 11, 1972 Robert married K'Lee Gardner and later divorced. They had four sons, Scott Arthur Moon, Craig Robert Moon, Bryce Levi Moon and Keith Thomas Moon and 5 grandchildren.

Robert loved working on the farm and ranch with his family. But what he loved the most about the ranch was working with the baby calves. He loved being out doors, but most of all he loved hunting and fishing with his four boys and spending time with his grand kids. In his free time he enjoyed going golfing. Robert loved to go to Jack pot and play the lottery trying to win the gega million jack pot..

Robert Thomas Moon Jr. Passed away on March 24, 2025 peacefully in is sleep at the age of 69.

He is survived by his three sons, Craig R. Moon, Bryce (Haley) Moon, Keith (Trish) Moon and his five grandchildren, Levi Craig Moon, Rylan Scott Moon, Alexa Karen Moon, Jaxtynn Marie Moon and Adalynn Amy Moon.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Moon, Grandmother Edna Moon, Father Robert Thomas Moon Sr., great aunt Amy Moon and his oldest son Scott Arthur Moon.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 4, 2025 at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony, ID. There will be a meet and greet with family and friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to services at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
