Heaven gained a hero on May 10, 2021. Boyd Tucker was born on May 14, 1955 to Mark and Gay Fausett Tucker in St. Anthony, Idaho. He was the second of two children. Boyd went to school at Teton Elementary, South Fremont Jr High and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1973. He attended Eastern Idaho Technical College and graduated with his welding certificate.
Boyd met the love of his life, Stacie Liljenquist in high school. They were married on April 16, 1976. They had two children, Adam and Carissa. Dad worked several jobs. When he was younger he worked for his Uncle Keith with the sheep. Not his favorite of jobs but definitely lots of memories with Uncle Keith. After Boyd and Stacie were married he worked for Paul Nedrow on the farm and at Ned's Moody Creek. He had the most fun working at Debco warehouse. Until later, when he was able to work with his good friend Barry Roberts for Starting Line Products. He cherished their friendship very much.
Boyd and Stacie worked side by side on the farm when mom was able to help. He loved to farm. His favorite was harvest. He had the best Spud Harvest Crew. They are like family to us. Some of his best memories were on the farm.
Dad was an extremely hard worker. He sacrificed a lot for our family. He took great care of our mom through her many years of illness. He always made sure we had everything and anything we needed. He absolutely loved his dogs. Pete was his side kick for 13 years. Fred was his ride or die the last 7 years.
Dad is survived by his children, Adam Tucker and Carissa Tucker and Fred his friend of Teton. Grandchildren Addee and Olly Tucker both of Burton, his father, Mark Tucker of Teton, his sister Barbara Keller of Ogden, Utah.
Dad is preceded in death by his wife of 45 years. His mother, Gay Tucker, good friends Louis Parker and Barry Roberts. Along with several aunts and uncles too.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary after which a graveside service will be held at 11:30 at the Teton-Newdale Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.flammfh.com.
