Brett Ted Hiner was born on March 31, 1962, the first son of Ted Everett and Peggy Ellen Carmichael Hiner, in Rexburg, Idaho. He passed away on August 3, 2016 at home of a long standing health problem.
He grew up and attended school in Rexburg, Idaho. He enjoyed anything outdoors and was a great hunter.
He married Laura Wayland on August 7, 1981. They divorced in 2004. Two daughters Jamie Lee and Stephanie Lynn were born to this union.
He worked for Valley Wide, Walters Ready Mix and Bowen Petroleum.
He is survived by his daughters, Jamie Lee (Mike) Bates of Germantown, Wisconsin; and Stephanie Lynn Hiner of St. Anthony, Idaho; three grandsons; his father, Ted Everett Hiner and Mother Peggy Ellen Hiner of Lyman, Idaho; and brother, Daren Lane (Kimberly) Hiner also of Lyman, Idaho.
Graveside services will be Monday, August 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Sugar City Cemetery. The family will receive Friends on Sunday evening from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony).
