IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Brint Dell
Freeman
February 4, 1950 – February 12, 2023
Brint Dell Freeman, 73, of Rexburg, Idaho passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on February 12, 2023 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
He was born on February 4, 1950 in Saint Anthony, Idaho to Paul Frank Freeman and Betty Jane Wilson Freeman. He was raised in Plano, Idaho and attended school in Sugar City, later attending and graduating from South Fremont high school in 1968.
Brint was an active member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He enjoyed his "job", as he called it, working as a ward clerk.
Brint worked in the fertilizer business for a large portion of his life, at US Steel, Intermountain Farmers, and Cennex. He took an opportunity in 1998 with his business partner, Keith Cornelision, to work full time doing the thing he had the most passion for, classic car restoration. It was there that Klassic Cars became his final workplace. His meticulous attention to detail is what he was known for. He would say that it wasn't going to work, because he loved what he did. The most rewarding thing for him was the personal relationships he had with each customer. They always became lifelong friends.
Brint was married to Audrey Sakota (Farr) and they had one child, Shawn Paul Freeman. They were divorced and he later married Vicki Ann Withers on July 27, 2002.
One of Brint's favorite hobbies was attending his son's and grandchildren's sporting events. He was a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees, but an even bigger fan of the Sugar-Salem Diggers boys basketball program where his son serves as head varsity coach. He could be seen in his chair at the very top of the gym every home game. His love and support of his family was something he took pride in. His calm, laid-back demeanor, and quick wit allowed for many laughs and lots of good memories. He was a happy person with a great attitude towards life. He enjoyed his time with his buddies at "Taco by the River", especially Randy Burbank.
He is survived by his wife Vicki Freeman, of Rexburg, son Shawn (Paula) Freeman, of Sugar City, stepson Jeremy Klingler, of Rigby, stepdaughter Brandi (Jeremy) Wise, of Rigby, stepson Ryan (Kailey) Klingler of Sugar City, stepson Kody Klingler of Newdale, sisters Cindy Barney of Rexburg and Lori Freeman of Idaho Falls, 16 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Monty Freeman and Layne Freeman, and sister Sonia Briggs.
