Bruce Jay Roberts, 74 currently of Rexburg, died Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Homestead Assisted Living Center.

He was born October 3, 1950 in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Alpha Jacques and Helen Amelia Wilcox Roberts.

He graduated from Minico High School in 1969. After high school he joined the Marines.

He married Kim Bloxam in 1973. They would later divorce in 2002. He would go on to marry Marilyn Peacock Skinner.

For his career he worked as a painting contractor in Salt Lake City and St. George, Utah, as well as Pocatello, Idaho, Vancouver, Washington and Rexburg.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He enjoyed fishing, motorcycles, fast pitch softball as a pitcher, cycling, camping, and playing billiards.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Skinner, his ex-wife, Kim Condemarin, his daughter, Charity (Jon) Jones of Riverside, California, a son, Bryan (Barbara) Roberts of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and grandchildren; Cortney, Nikki, Rylee, another son, Brandon (Jen) Roberts of Herriman, Utah, and grandchildren; Basia and Brylee. He is also survived by his brothers, Bing (Diane) Roberts of Rigby and Charlie Roberts of Rexburg and his sister, Jill Roberts of Salt Lake City, Utah.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Gordon and Gary, and a sister, Darlene Belnap.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 6, 2026 at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 1:45 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Parker Cemetery.
