IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Bryce
Millward
August 1, 1997 – August 12, 2022
Bryce William Millward, 25, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022, at his home in Sugar City, Idaho.
Bryce was born to Kurk and Brenda Millward on August 1, 1997, in Rexburg, Idaho. He was born shortly after his twin brother David; they were inseparable from the start. He was the fifth of seven children and grew up in Sugar City, Idaho. He hated it, but he stayed and graduated there.
Bryce just wanted the people around him to be happy. He would do everything in his power to get anyone to crack a smile and laugh. He was full of love, laughter, and compassion for everything and everyone. He has a heart of gold.
One of his younger sister's favorite memories goes as follows: There was always a monthly Walmart or Albertsons run getting his favorite chocolate mudslide ice cream. He would always add milk to it because it was his favorite. We would talk and eat ice-cream while we watched a movie and spend the whole time laughing. He could never have enough ice-cream parties. He loved them! We would go into Walmart, and he would dance saying "we're gonna have an ice-cream party." He was so fun.
He had a love of music. He had a voice that touched the hearts of everyone within earshot. He loved singing with his dad and spoke the words of his heart through music. He was the king of karaoke.
He had a knack for art and some of his most creative work still resides on his living room wall. At a young age he became passionate about finger-light shows. He purchased some light-show gloves around the age of 12 and began practicing every extra moment he had. He proudly performed for his friends and family often. Around the same age he became insanely talented on the rip-stick. He could be found riding down the steepest hills in Rexburg, which is the reason he broke his first bone in two places. He was passionate about gymnastics and would spend hours doing flips and handsprings on the trampoline. He also tried very hard to teach his less coordinated siblings.
He loved walking on stilts with his brother and friends. If you ever saw any extremely tall people walking around town, it was probably Bryce on stilts.
He had a curiosity for how things worked. He would constantly be taking things apart and putting them back together. He had plans to go into computer programming and had an interest in cryptocurrency and was constantly studying the ins and outs of those topics. He attended CEI college and did the Pathways Program through BYU-I.
He was always down for a good arm wrestle, and he won almost every time. His strength was unbeatable and his endurance unmatched.
As he grew, he became passionate about cooking good food. Feeding people his tasty creations was one of his love languages. He was one of the main chefs for every holiday. He would even stay up all night in order to get the full meal done for everyone, if needed.
Bryce had a quick wit and a sense of humor that would result in a home full of laughter. He loved joking with his brother David. Once the two got laughing, it would spread to everyone in the home until everyone was engaged in belly laughter. He had the best belly laugh of us all. His laugh could be heard from anywhere in the house; it was hard not to laugh along with him even if you were in a different room. He had a smile that reached his eyes and it's something we never got tired of seeing. His beautiful smile was a glimpse of his heart and soul.
Bryce was sensitive and caring. He would always check in with every family member every so often, just to make sure they were okay and that they knew he loved them.
He gave the best hugs, if you ever got a hug from Bryce, you know every hug he gave was with his whole being.
He is survived by his parents Kurk and Brenda Millward of Sugar City. Brothers, David and Andy Millward and his sisters, RosaLee Johnson, Alycia Grover, Amy Lemmon and Hannah Millward. His sister-in-law Hannah Weaver Millward, and brothers-in-law Ryan Johnson, Preston Grover, and Danial Lemmon. He was deeply adored by his nieces and nephews, EmmaLee, Addilyn, Claire, Kate and Jack Johnson and Everleigh and Max Grover. His grandparents Nylin & Diane Nelson, Judy Richards and Golden & Sandy Millward. He was an amazing dad to his fur-babies EllaRella, Jackie (Floofy), Mojo (Scrud) and Zoey. We all love you so much, our sweet Bryce.
