Candice "Candy" Patricia Chapple, 57, of Rexburg, passed away of natural causes, peacefully in the arms of her family on June 1, 2013.
She was born November 18, 1955, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Edgar and Dorothy Holden.
She was raised in Rexburg where she met the love of her life, Brad Chapple. They were married in 1972 and shared 40 wonderful years together. Three children were born to their marriage.
Candice spent most of her working career at Morris Floral and Porter's Craft and Frame. When her health deteriorated to the point she could no longer work, she became an avid homemaker and full time Grandma.
She enjoyed all life's gifts. She loved to go to Jackson Lake on her boat, she loved to shop and travel, but most of all she loved to be home where she could make wonderful masterpieces for her new home in Hibbard. She loved to spend time with her many friends and grandchildren.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband Brad Chapple of Rexburg; her three children, Angie (Brian) Young of St. Anthony, Brandy (Darren) Puetz of Idaho Falls, Travis (Brittany) Chapple of St. Anthony; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Dorothy Holden, a brother Stephen Holden, and her beloved dog "Bill".
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 7, at the Hibbard LDS Chapel, 2029 North 3000 West, in Rexburg. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Friday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
