Carol Ann Parkinson Asay, 81, of Rexburg, Idaho, died December 7, 2022.
She was born January 9, 1941, in Salt Lake City, Utah to Carroll Doney Parkinson and Lyal Nuttall Parkinson. She grew up in Eugene Oregon and loved skiing, swimming, and horses.
She attended Brigham Young University in Provo, UT, and the University of Washington in Seattle, WA.
She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served several missions throughout her retirement years. Throughout her life, she worked in the temples and was devoted to family history work. She enjoyed having large family dinners on holidays.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors are her children, Allison and Eric Fiscus of Palmer, Alaska, Michelle Asay of Seattle, Washington, Scott and Kris Asay of Rexburg, Idaho, Mark and Heidi Asay of Bellevue, Washington, and Brad and Kim Asay of Bothell, Washington; the father of her children, William Louis Asay of Lake Dallas, Texas; a sister, Yvonne Parkinson of Springfield Oregon, sister, Brayden Marsh of Oregon; 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on December 8, 2022.
