Carole E Bauer Owens, 91, passed away January 16, 2024. She was born March 19, 1932 and grew up in Teton City, ID. She was the first child of Cleo and Alta Howard. Carole attended Teton Elementary and South Fremont High School.

She married Larry (Bim) Bauer in 1951. To this union four children were born. Bim passed away in 1975 and Carole later married Gary D. Owens. She loved the outdoors - camping, fishing, picking huckleberries and hunting shed antlers in the desert. She loved to ski with the Teton Terrors. In her youth she was a rodeo queen. Carole and Gary loved serving as campground hosts at Laird Park, ID and always looked forward to summers there. Carole loved spending time with family and all the grandkids.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Carole was preceded in death by her husbands (Larry) Bim Bauer and Gary D. Owens. Her son Randy Bauer, stepson Danny Owens, step daughter Debbie Parkinson, sister Sharon Eddington and her brother Kay Lynn Howard.

Carole is survived by her children Tamara Bauer, Viki Bauer, Kory & Jana Bauer, daughter-in-law Tammy Bauer, stepchildren Gary Dee (Marlene) Owens, Darla (Rick) King, son-in-law Laine Parkinson. Her sister Gaye (Donlee) Hathaway as well as her 16 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Family gathering will be held on Monday, January 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg, ID. (61 N. 1st E.) Interment following at the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
