Carolyn Lucille Clark passed away surrounded by family at Teton Post-Acute Rehabilitation July 24,2022 after battling multiple health issues.
Carolyn Lucille Wood was born July 13, 1946 in St. Anthony, Idaho to Archie and Janet Wood. She grew up in St. Anthony, attended South Fremont High school where she lettered in band and graduated in 1964.
After high school, Carolyn worked in Idaho Falls where she met and married Ralph Gray. They lived in Idaho Falls, and had two children, Kelli Jean and Dennis. Carolyn went to beauty college and worked as a stylist for several years. After divorcing, Carolyn's career path shifted and she held accounting and HR positions at Medical and Professional Credit Union, Sacred Heart Hospital, School District 91, Intermountain Canola and Cargill Specialty Oils.
Carolyn met Boyd Clark in 1988 while both worked for the school district and they were married in 1989. With her marriage to Boyd, Carolyn gained her third child, Boyd "Chuck" Clark, Jr. The newlyweds lived in Idaho Falls until Boyd retired when they moved to Carolyn's childhood home in St. Anthony. She commuted to Idaho Falls daily for work while Boyd rebuilt the home she always wanted. When Carolyn retired, she began spending quality time with her husband, gardening and producing beautiful flowers. The pair took every opportunity they could to travel, making sure to visit family and friends often. Carolyn doted on any guests to her home, making sure everyone left with a full belly and a warm hug. She was often found cooking for large groups, whether it be church groups, work functions or family gatherings.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband Boyd, parents, sister Delores and brother Norman.
She is survived by her children Kelli Jean Wells of Mankato MN, Dennis (Melissa) Gray of Idaho Falls, Chuck (Nicole) Clark of St Anthony. Grandchildren Shelby, Donovan and Jamie Wells of Minnesota, Cloey, Kylee and Aspen Gray of Idaho, Cody Clark, Idaho Bret Clark Active Duty Army. Sister Bonita (Greg) Klingler, multiple nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Friday August 12th, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Parker Cemetery in Parker ID. The family is grateful to Bert Flamm Mortuary in St. Anthony for handling funeral arrangements.
