Obituary

Carrie Lee Cottrell Wilkinson, 87, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 in Rexburg, ID. She was born September 16, 1923 in Kansas City, Missouri to Charles and Bertha Mentor Harger.

She grew up in the Kansas City area and attended Kansas City Community College. She taught business classes at Longview Community College.

She married William H. Cottrell, together they raised five children.

She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church in Raytown, Missouri.

She had a strong love for her family, her God, her church and the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

She is survived by her children; Douglas (Patty) Cottrell of Rexburg, ID, Will (Suzanne) Cottrell of Lake Tahoe, CA, Michael (Leah) Cottrell of Independence, MO, Carol Brinkerhoff of Placerville, CA, and Dana Cottrell of Grain Valley, MO as well as 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by two sisters, Linda Jolley of St. Louis, MO, and Barbara Ragsdale of Independence, MO and a brother, Charles Harger of Austin, TX.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sister, Grendolyn Carsey and Frede Stites.

Services will be held at a later date in the Mount Washington Cemetery in Kansas City Missouri.
