Our loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister, Chloe Russell, 73, of Logan, Utah, peacefully returned to our Heavenly Father on September 13, 2018, after a battle with Alzheimer's.

She was born October 30, 1944, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Daniel Reese Lewis and Vida Leona Robertson Lewis. She grew up in Rexburg and Thornton Idaho. As she grew up she enjoyed sports and baton twirling. She also enjoyed the outdoors camping and fishing with her family. She loved spending time with her family and playing with her grandkids.

She graduated from Madison High School and then Utah State University with a Master's Degree in Education. She spent most of her years teaching at South Cache and Willow Valley Middle Schools in Cache County School District teaching 6th grade language arts.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and held many callings throughout her life.

She was married to Steven Allen Russell in the Logan Temple on April 14, 1966. They had 6 children together.

She is survived by her children: 1 son and 5 daughters: Lisa Oswald Logan UT, Rebecca (David) Dawson West Point UT, Ann Maree (Benjamin) Montgomery Clearfield, UT, Stephanie Cook Kaysville UT, Alan (Chelsie)Russell Kaysville, UT, and Machelle (Kirk) Overdiek Plain City, UT and 19 grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings Beth Sterrett, Susan (Earl) Richins, Grant (Dawnell) Lewis, Paul Lewis, Sandy (Vince) Jones, Eleen (Clyde) Morgan.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a nephew Aaron David Clapp.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, in Rexburg, Idaho. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
