Obituary

Clint Clifford Jensen 97, of Rexburg, Idaho passed away Thursday May 9, 2013 at his home. He was born March 29, 1916 in Canyon Creek Idaho to Margaret McKinley and Peter Jensen. He was the 10th of 10 children. November 28, 1940 he was sealed for time and eternity to Maxine Hill. They were blessed with 9 children, 6 boys and 3girls. They farmed in Milo and then Moved to Rexburg. He worked for Idaho Potato Growers and then Simplot until he retired. Clint was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He had a great love of the scouting program and working with youth. He served more than 20 years n various scouting positions. He served 2 missions with his wife. The first one to Ghana, Africa and the 2nd to Darien, Georgia. They also loved serving together 20 years in the Idaho Falls Temple. He is survived by his wife, Maxine, of Rexburg Idaho; his children ; Kenneth Jensen of Plymouth Utah, Dwight & Sherlynn Jensen of Pocatello, Jackie & Neal McCleary of South Jordan Utah, Janele and Lorin Hales of Sugar City, Jeanette and Tim Ricks of Rexburg, Max and Janell Jensen of Sugar City; Rick and Janine Jensen of Hyrum, Utah and many grand, great grand, and great great grandchildren. Clint is preceded in death by 3 of his children, Layne, Gary and Denice. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Rexburg North Stake Center located at 314 East 2nd North. The family will meet with friends Sunday May 12th, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home, 61 North 1st East, and prior to services 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be at the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
