Morris Clinton "Clint" Waddell was born March 9, 1949 in Driggs, Idaho to Morris Hyrum Waddell and Betty Lou Clark Waddell. Clint had one older sister (Janet), three younger sisters (Bonnie, Cathy, and Lori), and two younger brothers (David & John).

Clint graduated from Madison High School and spent a little time at Ricks College and Idaho State University. He was in the Navy from 1967-1970. He married Patricia Lynn Fetzer June 1, 1973 and had three daughters, Heather, Aimee, and Marci. He had three son-in-laws, Cal, Mark, and Taylor. Clint had six grandchildren, John, Spencer, Joshua, Patricia, Kaitlyn, and Reiley.

While Clint spent time working outside the trucking industry briefly doing road construction and lambing sheep during high school, he spent the bulk of his life interacting with the big rigs in one form or another. He worked for his father's trucking business Waddell Trucking, was a partner in CMC Trucking with Craig Lathem and Mark Jensen as well as Waddell Brothers Trucking with his brothers David and John. He also spent time owning his own trucking business as well as working for Squires Trucking and Cliff Reed Trucking.

Clint loved to golf and he loved his girls (Pat, Heather, Aimee, & Marci …even the dog #4 - Daisy). Clint also spent time as a jockey for his father and enjoyed helping his brothers with cutter racing.

Clint was preceded in death by his parents, sister Janet, and grandson Spencer.
