Services: 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at the Salem LDS Church with Bishop Cleve Bagley officaiting. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services.
Cloy J. Bagley, 69, of Fountain Valley, California formerly of Salem Idaho, died Tuesday August 3, 2010. He was born July 24, 1941 in Salem Idaho to Lorenzo Edwards Bagley and Ethel Eliza Jensen.
He grew up on his father's farm in Salem. He graduated from Sugar Salem High School. After high school he attended Ricks College. He continued his education at the University of Southern California School of Engineering where he graduated with both a BS and a MS in Aerospace Engineering. He worked as an Aerodynamics Engineer in the Aerospace Industry. His working career to him to Seattle for 2 ½ years but the rest of his career was spent with various companies in Southern California.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many different callings and positions of the church.
He married Marilyn Withers in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on April 14, 1965.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his children Bruce (Amber) Bagley of Sugarland, Texas, and Lisa Anne Bagley of Fountain Valley, California, as well as 3 grandchildren. He is also survived by a sister Vesta Withers of Hibbard, Idaho, brothers Quenton (Norma) Bagley of Salem, Idaho and Myron (Rose) Bagley of Rexburg, Idaho.
He was preceded is death by his parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
