In Loving Memory of Colleen Cole Blanchard
February 17, 1937 – July 20, 2025
Colleen Cole Blanchard was born on February 17, 1937, to Roy and Veion Cole. She lived a life full of love, laughter, and devotion to her family and passions.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kriss Blanchard, with whom she shared a joyful marriage beginning on February 10, 1966. She is also preceded in death by her father Roy, mother Veion, brother Boyd, sister RaNae, and granddaughter Callie.
Colleen is survived by her loving daughter Jackie and son-in-law Dan; her grandson Landan and his partner FaDale; and her granddaughter Meghan and her fiancé Rogan.
In her younger years, Colleen enjoyed gymnastics and bowling. She often took her family to Camas Creek to fish for Brookies—creating treasured memories for all who joined her.
Colleen was her grandchildren's biggest fan, never missing a single game and always cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm. She was also a devoted Utah Jazz fan and attended games whenever she could.
A talented gardener, Colleen's tulip flower beds were a vibrant reflection of her care and creativity. She had a special gift for decorating, especially during Halloween and Christmas, when her home became a festive haven for family and friends.
Her loyal dogs were always by her side, offering constant companionship and comfort.
One of her greatest passions was music—especially her love for Lady Gaga. Colleen attended three of her concerts, and in a moment that perfectly captured her spitfire attitude, she rode in a limo to her third Lady Gaga concert the night before she passed.
Her legacy of love, strength, and fiery spirit lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
