Jean Colleen Forsberg passed away Friday, May 4 at her home in St. Anthony surrounded by her family. She was 59 years old.
Colleen was born in St. Anthony on July 12, 1952 to Louis and Dena Housley.
She attended school in St. Anthony where she graduated from South Fremont High School. After graduation from high school she attended Ricks College where she met, fell in love with, and married Bill Forsberg. She later attended Washington State University and Brigham Young University.
She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
As a young girl, Colleen enjoyed spending summers in Island Park with her family. She loved traveling and seeing new places. Her true passion was her family.
Colleen is survived by her husband, Bill, her daughters: Katherine (Jason) Ormsby of Houston, Texas; Marci (Roger) Greenwood of West Lafayette, Indiana; Adriana (Jake) Handy of Hailey, Idaho; Jessica (Abe) Dummar of San Antonio, Texas; Abby Forsberg of San Antonio, Texas; Emily (Brian) Rhodehouse of Rexburg. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Don (Barbara) Housley of Victorville, California; Joyce (Delynn) Murdock of Ashton; Larry (Kathy) Housley of Idaho Falls; Richard (Julie) Housley of Saint Anthony.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the Saint Anthony Stake Center with Bishop Drostan Orme officiating. Friends may call at Bert Flamm Mortuary Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. and at the church Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Burial will be at the Saint Anthony Riverview Cemetery. The family suggests donations in Memory of Colleen to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at www.huntsmancancer.org.
