IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Craig
Leatham
May 13, 1952 – March 6, 2025
Craig S Leatham passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 6, 2025 in St. George, Utah due to complications from surgery. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 13, 1952 in Rexburg, Idaho to Spence Whitney Leatham and JoyLene Robison Leatham.
A hardworking and determined man, Craig built a successful career in the trucking industry. He began by driving trucks for various companies before seizing an opportunity to become a business owner. Alongside three partners, he founded Cedarpoint Trucking, each starting with just one truck and a shared vision. Through dedication and perseverance, he helped grow the company into a respected business.
Beyond his career, his greatest love was his family. He married his high school sweetheart, Debra Terry, during their senior year, and together they built a life full of love, laughter, and unwavering support. Their marriage of over 55 years was a testament to their deep devotion to one another. They were blessed with three children: Kimberley (53), Heath (51), and Bron (49), who were the pride and joy of his life.
Craig will be remembered for his integrity and his work ethic. He was a loving father, a faithful son, a generous sibling, and a dedicated husband to his dear wife Deb. His life centered around her, his family, and his dogs, and a love for golf. He was admired and respected by any who knew him well. For the past 25 years, they have enjoyed splitting their time between Rexburg and southern Utah. In his final years, he loved being a patron and a worker in the temple every opportunity he had. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, integrity, faith and love.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Debra; his children, Kimberley Leatham-Davis (William) of Rigby, Heath Leatham (Alyson) of Rexburg, and Bron Leatham (Wendy) of Rexburg, fourteen grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; his brother, Forrest Leatham and sister, Sherry Pollard. He was preceded in death by his parents Spence and JoyLene, his brother Quirt, and his sister Debbie Kay.
There will be a viewing Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30PM at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th at 11:00AM at the LDS Chapel located at 1508 West 3000 North in Rexburg, with a viewing beforehand at 9:30AM.
