Arthur Craig McCuistion, 50, of Rexburg, was called home by our Heavenly Father as a result of a High Adventure rafting accident, on Friday, June 26, 2009, with his scouts on the Snake River near Alpine, Wyoming. He was surrounded by many he loved.
He was born April 3, 1959 at Burley, Idaho to Arthur Lloyd and Betty Kay Hamblin McCuistion.
He married Vickie Wright in 1981 and they later divorced. He married Cindy Corless August 13, 1993 in the Logan Utah LDS temple.
Craig is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He faithfully served an LDS mission in Göteborg Sweden. He served in many capacities and was currently serving as First Counselor in the Young Men's Presidency in his ward. His greatest passion was serving the youth. He graduated from Burley High and attended Utah Technical College.
Craig's greatest joy is the love of his life and eternal companion Cindy. He treasures his children and was very active in their lives and would do anything for them. Craig had a talent of making friends with everyone he met. When meeting a stranger it took only minutes before they became his friend. He had a contagious laugh and an infectious sense of humor. Everyone loved Craig.
He is survived by his wife Cindy, of Rexburg and children; Ryan of Coeur D'Alene, Ashley and Kori both of Boise, Brittney of Rexburg , his parents Lloyd "Buzz" and Betty McCuistion of Burley, siblings; Debbie (Steven) Straubhaar of Twin Falls, Lori (Al) Chapa of Burley, Lisa (Jerry) Cook of Lehi, UT, Machelle McCuistion of Filer and a brother-in-law Dan (Carla) Coreless of Paul.
