Cynthia Lynn Moon, 50 of Lyman, died Saturday, December 3, 2011 at home. She was born March 29, 1961 in Idaho Falls to Melor Wayne and Margie Louise Burkey Soucie. She married Bradley R. Moon on June 19, 2010 at Woodville, Idaho.

She lived at Shelley and Idaho Falls all her life except the last two years. She enjoyed being outdoors and fishing and she loved country music. She was a graduate of Shelley High School and cosmetology school. She loved movies and playing games with family and friends and she loved animals, especially dogs and usually had one on her lap. Her favorite color was purple.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a kind, loving person who accepted all who came into her life. She loved helping people and spent time working in nursing homes on several occasions. She loved helping with Upper Valley Idol and dreamed of being a performer some day and she did volunteer work with the Romance Theater committee.

She is survived by her husband Bradley of Lyman, her mother Margei Soucie and siblings; Michael H. (Shelia) Soucie, Randy L. (Annette) Soucie, Debbie L. (Kevin) Tew, Gary W. (Amy) Soucie, Kathleen R. Soucie and 21 nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Rexburg South LDS Stake Center (2041 West 5200 South) with Bishop Kevin Allred officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Thursday at the stake center from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
