Dagny Dorotea Persson Jonson died October 21, 2010 in Rexburg, Idaho of causes incident to age. Mom was born June 10,1925 in Landon, Sweden, to Per Botolf Andersson and Edith Naima Kristina Norberg.

Mom attended school and grew up in Sweden, where she met her sweetheart Gosta Verner Jonson in the fifth grade. Mom and Dad were married and had three children; Jan, Christin and Greg.

In 1951 the family immigrated to the United States and lived in Seattle, Washington. There they raised their family. Dad passed away in 1992 and Mom continued to live in Seattle. Six and a half years ago she moved to Rexburg, Idaho to live with her son Greg and his family.

Mother's greatest attribute was her loving and caring nature. She was a big part of the lives of her children and grandchildren. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Mom served faithfully in many callings throughout her life.

Mother was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband Gosta and a daughter-in-law Sandi. She is survived by her brother Arne (Inger) Persson and her three children; Jan (Betty), Christin (Ray Sudduth) and Greg (Heather), fourteen grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Seattle, Washington where she will rest beside her eternal sweetheart.
