Dakota Allen

Dakota James Janson Allen, 16 of Rigby, returned home to his Heavenly Father July 3, 2009. He was born June 12, 1993 at Rexburg, Idaho, the son of Scott Bryant Allen and Stefanie Michelle Janson Allen. He attended Sugar-Salem High School and worked on the farm with his dad, Scott. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints being active in the Aaronic Priesthood. He loved his brothers and sister, motorbiking, skate boarding and hard work. He was very dependable to get things done. He had a special way with those less fortunate and was always the protector.

Dakota is survived by his parents, Scott and Stefanie Allen of Rigby siblings; Stetson Perks Allen, Dalton Allen, Shelby Allen and Conner Allen all of the family home, grandparents; Kay Allen of Hibbard, Dan Allen of Parker and Norman Todd Perks of Arco and a great grandmother; Dorothy Craig of Rexburg. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; Alonzo and Arlene Janson.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at the Garfield LDS Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends Tuesday at the Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and Wednesday at the church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services.
