Daniel Thomas Salazar, 57 of Parker, Idaho was called home by the Lord on March 18, 2017 at his family home.
Danny was born on August 25, 1959 in Grants, New Mexico to Willie and Mary Louise Lucero Salazar. He was raised in Grants where he attended schools up through graduating from High School.
He married Wendy Lee Froehlich on October 23, 2011 at Anatone, Washington. Danny was a loving husband, brother, son, father and grandfather.
He worked most of his life as an underground miner. Danny enjoyed fishing, barbequing, making people laugh and doing anything with his wife.
He was preceded in death by his father Willie Salazar. He is survived by his wife Wendy Salazar of Parker, ID; children, Nichole Gonzalez of Parker, ID; Davina Salazar of Indian Spring, NV; Danny Salazar of Grants, NM; his mother Mary Salazar of Grants, MN; siblings, Darren (Claudia) Salazar of Albuquerque, NM; Dennis Salazar of Albuquerque , NM; Derek (Candy) Salazar of Grants, NM; Debbie (Mody) Hicks of Grants, NM; Deirdra (William) Rivera of Grants, NM; Darlene (Daniel) Roybal of Rio Rancho, NM; and 3 grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 8:00 a.m. in the Parker 1st LDS Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends from 7:30 a.m. until time of the service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Anatone United Methodist Church at P.O. Box 100, Anatone, WA 99401.
