Obituary

Darren Scott Davis age 54, died on October 31 st , 2018. He died from injuries sustained in a four-wheeler accident.

He was born on November 3 rd , 1963 to Darrell Wayne and Joyce Davis. He graduated from South Fremont High School in Saint Anthony, Idaho. He also attended Ricks College, now Brigham Young University Idaho. He began his life working as a machinist in his father's business at the age of eight. He inherited the business after Darrell passed away. Darren became so good at his profession as a welder and fabricator that he could engineer anything he wanted to do just out of his head. He always made sure that the farmers in the area were priority with the crop season upon them.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. Darren's mission was the Richmond-Roanoke mission of Virginia. He married his high school sweetheart, Cathy Marie Voss in the Idaho Falls, Idaho Temple on July 11, 1985. He served in various callings in the church such as primary, elders quorum president, the young men, and in the finance clerk's office.

Darren like to play sports. He wrestled, played football, and baseball. Darren enjoyed his four-wheeler, boating, jet skiing, hiking, and camping. He liked a good adventure and treasure hunt and went geocaching whenever he got the chance.

He was a very kind and compassionate man. He always put others ahead of himself. There were times he would do things for people who had little kids and never charged them a penny. He would give money to handicapped children anonymously. He cared very deeply for any of his friends or family having a tough time. He was the kind of person you could rely on and not have to second guess. He was a man of integrity that was here to make the world a better place than when he found it.

He is survived by his wife of 33 1/2 years, Cathy Marie Voss Davis, of Parker, Idaho, and by his siblings Susan (Brent) Jackson, of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Teri Davis, of Ashton, Idaho, Julie (Jeff) May, of Parker, Idaho and Jay Davis, of Washington DC. He is preceded in death by his parents Darrell Wayne Davis, Joyce Draper Davis, and by his sister Christy Rae Davis.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday November 7 th , 2018 from 7:00pm to 8:30pm at Bert Flamm Mortuary in Saint Anthony. His funeral will held at the Parker, Idaho LDS Church Thursday November 8 th at 11:00am. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery.
