Debbie Kay Leatham Lopez, 58 of Ammon, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2016 at her daughter's home , surrounded by her family. Debbie was born June 10,1957 to Spence and Joy Leatham in Rexburg, Idaho. She married Kim Cureton on August 17,1973. They were blessed with three wonderful children; Jeremey, Trevor, and Tangi. They later divorced. She married Andy Lopez on September 5, 2008. Debbie grew up as a tomboy, loving the outdoors and She loved going on the truck with her dad. She continued to love nature and enjoyed camping and fishing throughout her life. Debbie is survived by her husband Andy and her children; Jeremey (Teresa) Cureton of Meridian, Idaho and Tangi (Justin) Terry of Idaho Falls, eight grandchildren, her mother Joy Leatham of Meridian and siblings; Sherry Pollard, Forrest and Craig Leatham. She was preceded in death by her son Trevor Cureton, a brother Quirt Leatham and her father Spence Leatham. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at the Flamm Funeral Home (61 North 1st East Rexburg). The family will receive friends Wednesday, prior to services from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Interment will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
