Dee Ann Meikle, 77 of St. Anthony, died Wednesday, April 21, 2016 in St. Anthony.

She was born November 2, 1938 in Sugar City, Idaho to Lorin and Zelda Richards Meikle. They moved to St. Anthony shortly after buying a home on Bridge Street where Dee Ann continued to live until 2015 when she moved into Homestead Assisted Living in St. Anthony.

She graduated from South Fremont High School and attended two semesters at Ricks College. At the age of 18 Dee Ann started working for and eventually retired from B.M. Tibbitts and Sons where she was the office manager.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in positions in the Primary, Sunday School and Young Women organizations.

She is survived by sisters, Joyce Davis and Marilyn Hathaway both of St. Anthony, ID; nieces and nephews, Pamela Carpenter, Jana Jones, JoAnn Hammond, Chad Hammond, Paul Hammond, Eric Savage, Todd Hathaway and Tana Barney; and several grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Janice Hammond; brothers-in-law, Frank Davis, Wayne Hammond and Bill Hathaway; and a nephew, Bill Davis.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary (581 E. 1st N.) in St. Anthony. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Riverview Cemetery.
