Delma Westover, 93, of Rexburg, died November 9, 2017, at Carriage Cove of natural causes. She was born July 30, 1924, in Cleveland, Idaho to Frank and Ethel Burton Kropf. The family moved often between Utah and Idaho. She graduated from Preston, Idaho high school.

While growing up, she helped her Dad around the farm and with milk deliveries. The family moved to Bremerton, Washington in 1942.

While living in Bremerton, Delma met Artell Reed Westover who was working at the shipyard there. They were married on February 16, 1944, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived for a time in Arizona and then moved back to Washington in 1946, settling in Quincy where they raised their family. Artell died in 1992. In 2007, Delma moved to Rexburg to live with her daughter.

Delma was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served faithfully in many callings, including as Relief Society president. She and Artell served a mission together from 1990 to 1992, in the Jackson Mississippi Mission. She was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers. She was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She loved to crochet and spend time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Lynda (Willis) Kortright of Rexburg, DeWayne (Marlene) Westover of Rexburg, Owen (Patrice) Westover of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a brother-in-law Joseph Austin; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Artell, two sisters and a brother.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, at the Rexburg North Stake Center, 314 East 2nd North. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Tuesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to services. Interment will be in the Quincy Valley Cemetery.
