DeLynn K Hathaway, 76 of St. Anthony, passed away peacefully of natural causes on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the Homestead in St. Anthony, Idaho with his devoted wife by his side.

DeLynn was born on January 24, 1947 in St. Anthony, Idaho, the youngest son of Irvin Lemuel and Audessa Lapriel Glover Hathaway, where he was raised and attended school. Like so many other young men, his youth was interrupted when he was called up through the National Guard to serve in the Vietnam War in 1968 where he served honorably. Upon his return, he stated a family with his first wife Mary Dexter Blaisdell. DeLynn and Mary later divorced in 1984.

His career was spent in the family business working with his brother Danny at Hathaway Trailer Sales for over 40 years.

He found his best friend and love of his life Lori Corbett and they have spent the past 35 years in laughter and partnership.

The Idaho summers were a favorite time of his and he spent the long days on the golf course winning many tournaments with lifelong friends. The second half of his life was spent on the river with a fly rod in his hands in search of the perfect fish.

His friends and family could always rely on DeLynn for a good story and a good time. His genuine nature and acceptance of all walks of life is a legacy to those who knew and loved him.

DeLynn is survived by his wife, Lori Corbett Hathaway, his children: Meladee (Tracy) Gardella, John Ryan (Angie) Hathaway, Milisa (Kevin) Parker, 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and 5 siblings.

There will be a visitation on Friday, October 13, 2023 from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. at Bert Flamm Mortuary, 581 E. 1st N., St. Anthony. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery where military rites will be the local veterans and the Idaho National Guard Honor Guard.
