Denis Hirschi, 81, passed away on March 10, 2024 due to a fall at the facility he was living at in Kimberly, ID.

He was born July 8, 1943 in Rexburg, ID to Arnold Hirschi and Rachel Wylie Hirschi. Denis grew up in Salem, ID and attended Sugar-Salem High School in Sugar City, ID.

After high school he enlisted in the United States Army where he served for a couple of years as a heavy equipment operator. After being honorably discharged from the Army he located to the state of Washington where he was employed as a well digger.

He later moved back to Idaho where he started driving trucks and later started The Hirschi Trucking Company.

Denis was an excellent carpenter and mechanic. He could build and repair anything!
He was a life long member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

He is preceded in death by his father Arnold and mother Rachel Wylie. His brother Craig and sister Barbara Sollender.

Funeral Service will be held at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg at 11:00 a.m. on April 10, 2024 a Viewing will be held prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m.. Interment will be at the Fielding Memorial Cemetery in Idaho Falls, ID.
