Dennis Alton Mortimer passed from this life on the morning of April 10th 2022, in Rexburg, Idaho, after losing his battle with cancer.

Dennis was born on May 23rd 1958 in Redding California to Alton, and Ida Arlene Mortimer who have both passed from this life.

Dennis leaves behind a loving son and daughter; Jodi Mortimer-Hayward, her Husband Don, and Toby Mortimer his wife Natalie along with many grandchildren all from Redding California.

Dennis is survived by Brothers Robert Mortimer, and wife Pierrette from Sugar City Idaho, and Ronald Mortimer, and wife Katherine from Sandy Utah. Dennis had many nieces and nephews.

Dennis graduated from Central Valley High School in Shasta Lake City California in 1976.

Growing up in Northern California Dennis was an incredible athlete he loved Track & Field, Baseball, Basketball, and Football. At an early age in his teens Dennis learned to play guitar. He played in several local bands playing classic rock, and contemporary country music.

Before graduating from high school he knew that he wanted a career in auto body repair.. His passion was classic car, and antique hot rod restorations. Dennis had many talents, and was loved by many family, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 23, at the Sugar City, Idaho, LDS Stake Center.
