Denton Rocky Palmer, 46, of Roberts, Idaho died December 5, 2023, after a battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born January 27, 1977, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Rocky and Trixie Swensen Palmer.  He was raised in Teton City, Idaho.  He attended Teton Elementary school and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1995.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and was ordained an elder by his father.

He worked as a heavy equipment operator.  He worked in the oil fields of North Dakota and for Chad Ball Excavation.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing, 4-wheeling, mudding, and camping.  He loved horses.

He is survived by his parents, Rocky and Trixie Palmer; children, Shentasha Bybee, Travette Palmer, Harley (Kaylee) Palmer, Tasida Palmer, Jarek Palmer; siblings, Krista (Samuel) Hill, Rial (Teresa) Palmer, Kayla (Brandon) Wilding, Ciera (David) Coleman; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and an uncle, Robert Denton Palmer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 11, at the Teton LDS Chapel with Bishop Cameron Andrews officiating.  The family will receive family Monday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.  Interment will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
