Obituary

Devin Eric Singleton died Aug 19, 2013 in a one vehicle accident near Dubois, Idaho.

He was born July 24, 1984 to V. Britt Singleton and J. Laree Singleton, of Salem, in Rexburg. He grew up living in Salem and attending schools at Sugar-Salem graduating in 2002. After graduation he worked at Ray's Car Wash earning money to serve a mission, which he did to the Tulsa Oklahoma Mission 2003-2005.

After his mission he worked several jobs before attending college at Utah State in Logan Utah. There he met his love Mary Ruth Hunting from Vernal, Utah. They were married on January 5, 2008 and moved to Vernal and lived there a year before moving to Riverton, Wyoming.

While living in Riverton, Devin attended Central Wyoming College and graduated with a degree in criminal justice. While attending school Devin started working with horses, which he loved.

In 2012 he and his family moved back to Rexburg working and continuing school at BYU-Idaho in the agriculture field. In August he got a job working as a farm and ranch hand, where he was employed at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife Mary and two boys Daniel 2 years of age and William 5 months of age of Rexburg; parents Britt and Laree Singleton of Salem; siblings, Mike (Ashley) Singleton of Idaho Falls, Billy Singleton of Rexburg, Mandy(Tyler) Hill of Rexburg.

He was preceded in death by Gay Coles, grandmother, of Ririe, Idaho and Vern Singleton, grandfather, of St. Anthony, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, at the Salem 2nd Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Mike Vickers conducting. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Flamm Funeral Home in Rexburg and Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
