Obituary

Diana Lee Morgan, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born on July 13, 1949, to Betty Lee Stewart and Niles Forest Burnard in Compton, California. Diane was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Jeanette Marie Moe.

Diane attended Warren High School in Downey, California, where she laid the foundation for a life characterized by compassion, generosity, and love. She later retired from the Crazy Horse Campground general store in Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where she was cherished by colleagues and patrons alike.

Diane lived a life filled with joy and passion. She had a keen interest in playing pool, and her laughter echoed through many evenings spent in friendly competition. She found immense happiness in spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and she was known for her boundless love and support. Diane's love for music, particularly the iconic sounds of Queen, brought rhythm and melody to her days. She found solace and expression in dancing, and she shared her creative spirit through crafting with her beloved grandkids.

Throughout her life, Diane called several places home, including Rexburg, Idaho, Milton-Freewater, Oregon, and Walla Walla, Washington. Each place held a special memory and piece of her heart.

Diane is survived by her son, John David Nielson of Milton-Freewater, Oregon, her daughters Colleen Marie Savage (Michael) of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Kimberly Lynn Fitzpatrick of Rexburg, Idaho, and Tiffany Michelle Bottomley of Lake Havasu City, Arizona. She leaves behind a legacy of love and laughter through her 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Phoenix Children's Hospital and Shriners Hospital for Children, causes that were dear to Diane's heart.

Diane Lee Morgan will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have been touched by her presence. May she rest in eternal peace.

Services were entrusted to the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. Well wishes may be sent to Flamm Funeral Home.
