Donald Carlyle Ruud, 79 of Rexburg, Idaho, died June 3, 2023.
Born October 8, 1943, in Afton, Wyoming, to Lester M Ruud and Goldie M Reeves Ruud.
He was raised in Swan Valley, Idaho, until the completion of the Palisades Dam and then moved to Firth, Idaho.  He attended grade school in Swan Valley, Idaho and High School in Firth, Idaho.
On January 2, 1965, he married Janet D Salisbury in Blackfoot, Idaho.  Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1974.
Don was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Rexburg, Idaho, daughters Melissa (Kevin) Moss, of Rexburg, Idaho, Jennifer (Brent) Brown, of Rigby, Idaho; sons, Wayne (LeeAnne) Ruud, of Logan, Utah and Brandon (Tori) Ruud, of Meridian, Idaho. 15 grandchildren, five great granddaughters and one great grandson; sister, Caryl (David) Siepker, of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Les and Goldie Ruud, infant grandson, Hunter Kevin Moss; brothers, Orval Douglas Ruud, Lester G Ruud, Rex B Ruud, Russell Ruud, Delmar Holiday, Jerry Holiday, Monte Holiday, Richard D Salisbury, brother-in-law.
Services will be held Saturday, June 10th at 12:00 noon at the Rexburg North Stake Center.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
Interment will be in the Ririe Shelton Cemetery.
