Donald R "Donny" Winegar, 64, of Parker, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023, surrounded by family, of a lingering illness. He was born November 23, 1958, in Chandler, Arizona and grew up in the Parker and Egin areas. He graduated from South Fremont High School.

He married Diana "DeeDee" Pead on March 21, 1980, in St. Anthony. They had three children, Jessica, Michael and Dori Jo.

At the time of his death he was working for Bloom Construction.

Donny loved camping, fishing and being in the outdoors. His favorite place was on the back of a horse where he had the best view, no matter where he was at.

His greatest joy was the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Diana of Parker, ID; children, Jessica (Skeeter) Leonard of Carlin, NV; Michael Winegar of Parker, ID; and Dori Jo (Ramon) Acedo of Hibbard, ID; His mother, Dorothy Winegar of Egin, ID; a brother Steve Winegar; sisters, Sue Winegar and Mary (Kim) Birch all of Egin, ID. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Vern Winegar; and two brothers, Alvin Winegar and Vern Jr. Winegar.

In lieu of flowers donations to the family to help with expenses would be appreciated.

Memorial services will be held Thursday, July 13, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Parker 1st Ward Chapel. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. both times at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary.
