IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Donna
Driggs
April 29, 1957 – February 10, 2025
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our sister and aunt, Donna Marie Driggs. Donna passed peacefully at Temple View Transitional Care Center in Rexburg, Idaho on Monday, February 10, 2025 with her sister, Judy Gonsalves, by her side.
Donna was born on April 29, 1957, in Anaconda, Montana to Donald "Max" Driggs and Mary Grace Forrester. She was the oldest of 4 children. When she was 2, she moved with her family to Driggs, Idaho where she lived for a short time with her grandparents, Byron and Ruth Driggs. Grandpa Byron helped Max get a job at the Monsanto Plant in Soda Springs, Idaho, where Donna lived until she was 16 years old. She then moved back to Driggs, Idaho where she lived with her Aunt Grayce and Uncle Ron before moving in to help her grandpa, Byron.
Donna loved art, needlepoint, and coloring books. She made many needlepoint projects for family and friends in Teton Valley. She loved going to Seniors of the West to have lunch.
Donna loved animals. She had many pets throughout her life. Her sister, Judy, got a new cat two years ago. Donna loved it when Judy would visit with the cat and Donna could hold her.
Donna moved to St Anthony 10 years ago, where she lived in Homestead Assisted Living Home for 3 years. Then she developed leg problems and had to move to Temple View. She loved the people at Temple View and really enjoyed being at the nurse's station during the day and talking with them while she did her needlepoint and coloring pages. Her legs never got better and she had to spend the last few years of her life in a wheelchair.
Donna is preceded in death by her mother, father, grandpa Byron, grandma Ruth, her sister Keri Sue, her Aunt Grayce, and her Uncle Ron.
She is survived by her sister, Judy (Driggs-White) Gonsalves of Victor, Idaho and her brother, James (Jim) Howard Driggs of Tucson, Arizona. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces. RIP sweet sister. We will miss you so much.
Memorial service will be held on August 2, 2025 at 11:00 am at LDS church in Victor, Idaho.
